Put Yourself First

Looking after your wellbeing is not just about taking care of your health. A sense of wellbeing comes from doing what you love - whether it’s engaging in activities that keep you connected to the community or pursuing a lifelong passion or hobby. We make it our priority to understand what’s really important to you.

Sit down with one of our staff over a cup of tea and they’ll help you plan your diary for the weeks and months ahead. Sometimes it’s the logistics of managing day-to-day tasks and appointments that can get on top of you. We’re here to help so you can keep living life the way you always have without the fuss.

Or maybe you want to try something new and you’re not sure where to start. We can get that sorted too. Oceania’s award winning I Love Music programme makes it easy for you to enjoy the music you love anytime, anywhere. We help you reconnect with all your favourites, from big band to classical, by providing you with an mp3 player loaded with your own unique music playlist. Life really can be easy and enjoyable when you live at Eden Village.

Activities Programme

Eden provides weekly and monthly programmes to cater for all needs. Culinary themed evenings - like The Great Gatsby, quiz evening, funology mornings along with Works of Art to name a few. We offer bus outings each week and entertainment that comes to us. We enjoy the community spirit with schools visiting and singing to residents. Our Sunday church service has become a nice social morning with a shared cup of tea afterwards. We also have a hobby room, pool table and regular movies on our big screen.

What’s Near By

Here in Mt Eden we are fortunate to have so much, close by. Mt Eden shops, swimming complex, local schools and churches along with motels for families who live out of Auckland. The local RSA memorial hall is down Dominion Road, which offers the Senior Net courses. St Luke’s shopping Centre is available for some serious retail therapy and a trip to the top of Mt Eden gives splendid views of the suburb and across Auckland city - which is just a short bus trip away. We have a special bond with Eden Gardens who offer free admission to our residents. Eden Village is centrally located, meaning a trip north or south is possible on our special bus excursions.
