Gracelands Care

Our Care Offering

Gracelands has a reputation for its vibrant, family friendly feel, and is a place where residents and their families can feel at home and rely on staff for care delivered with warmth and kindness. Whether you enjoy socialising or quiet time, how you spend your day is up to you.  Find a friend and join in the day’s events in the main lounge or relax in one of our many cosy nooks.

We don’t have visiting hours at Gracelands because we know it’s important you stay connected to your community. Just like at home, friends and family can join you anytime for a cuppa and catch up. In an ideal location close to the expressway, it’s a breeze for visitors to pop in or get you out and about to local shops and cafes.

Activities

Hop in the village van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. Hot chips on the on the beach, off to Rush Munroe’s for an ice-cream, there’s an exciting destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re in to, enjoy your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme. Restaurant nights, live entertainment, visits from Kiwi Kids Kindergarten and theme days, there’s something for everyone no matter what you’re interested in.

Food

Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings… there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to be up for second helpings!

Award Winning Care

Great care is what we do and we’ve got the accolades to prove it. Gracelands won the People’s Choice award from Aged Advisor, and Oceania took home the supreme award from the New Zealand Aged Care Association 3 years in a row, so you can be sure you’re in good hands. When it comes to your care, you know what you like and don’t like - and we want to know too. Because everyone is different all our residents get a personalised care plan. From meals to medications, everything that’s important to you is covered. We’ve also got a choice from standard rooms to Care Suites, which means no matter your needs or budget there are plenty of options.
