Meadowbank Care

Rest Home Care Reinvented

Meadowbank Village with its luxurious new Care Suites, offers not only the very best in retirement living but also in rest home and hospital level care. From our concierge services team to our international chef, we’re here to help you to keep doing the things you love and provide all those extra touches that make life easy and enjoyable. And the good news is that no referral is required to move into a Care Suite.

If you’re one of those people who believe variety is the spice of life, you’ll love living here. Dine in your own suite or in the restaurant, choosing from a delicious selection of a la carte meals prepared onsite and beautifully presented by our internationally trained chef. Entertain family in the private dining room or ask us our concierge services team to arrange a special meal out. Live life the way you want to! Catch up with family in one of the cosy lounges, meet friends for a coffee in the café or book the cinema and invite the grandchildren around for a movie. It’s your choice.

Tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood and surrounded by leafy green spaces, you’ll relish the peace and tranquillity – but the city is only minutes away. With the train station just a short stroll down the road, family and friends can pop by anytime.

A Place to Call Home

Home is where you feel completely at ease – where you can be yourself, indulge in your favourite pastimes and live life on your own terms.

At Meadowbank, you’ll feel at home in your Care Suite, surrounded by your own furniture and decorated with your own personal touches. A Care Suite is like a small apartment, with an open plan bedroom and lounge, or if you prefer, a separate bedroom and lounge space. Most have balconies and all Care Suites have a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, full ensuite bathroom and heat pump. The best part is that once you've settled in, you'll never have to go through the upheaval of moving again. The care you need, whether it's rest home or hospital level, comes to you in your Care Suite. Some of our Care Suites can also accomodate a couple. A referral is not required to live in a Care Suite.

You’ve cared for others your whole life, now it’s time to put yourself first. Care Suites offer you all the comforts of home along with the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’ll get the very best care and support. A Care Suite may sound similar to Assisted Living or Serviced Apartments offered elsewhere, but there are some important differences to consider. Find out more about Care Suites here

Put Yourself First

Looking after your wellbeing is not just about taking care of your health. A sense of wellbeing comes from doing what you love - whether it’s engaging in activities that keep you connected to the community or pursuing a lifelong passion or hobby. We make it our priority to understand what’s really important to you.

Oceania’s award winning I Love Music programme makes it easy for you to enjoy the music you love anytime, anywhere. We help you reconnect with all your favourites, from big band to classical, by providing you with an mp3 player loaded with your own unique music playlist.

Sit down with one of our staff over a cup of tea and they’ll help you plan your diary for the weeks and months ahead. Sometimes it’s the logistics of managing day-to-day tasks and appointments that can get on top of you. We’re here to help so you can keep living life the way you always have without the fuss. Or maybe you want to try something new and you’re not sure where to start. We can get that sorted too. Life really can be easy and enjoyable when you live at Meadowbank.
