Palm Grove Care

Our Care Offering

Palm Grove has the best of both worlds, being close to shops and motorways but nestled in a peaceful spot away from the main road. From the staff who greet you in the hallways, to the fresh and inviting living spaces, at Palm Grove you’ll feel right at home. There’s always something happening in our main lounge - find a friend to chat to or join in the day’s events. If it’s peace and quiet you crave, relax in the beautifully manicured gardens, or settle in a comfy chair in one of our many cosy nooks.

At Palm Grove, we offer a range of Premium Rooms including Care Suites, which means no matter your needs or budget, there are plenty of options.

Care Suites are designed to give you more flexibility, plus that little bit of luxury you deserve. Both Rest Home and Hospital care can be provided in your Care Suite, which means you can relax knowing you won’t have the upheaval of moving again if your needs increase.

Your Care Suite is designed to be your forever home, so you’ll be able to stay in the same familiar place, with your friends around you and the staff who know you best caring for you. You own the right to occupy your Care Suite, so you can personalise it with your favourite furniture and treasured pieces. A DHB assessment is not required for care that is paid for privately.

All Care Suites have a heat pump and full en-suite, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave – perfect for making a cuppa when friends and family come to visit.

Activities Programme

Hop in the village van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. A scenic drive to Lyttleton or hot chips at the beach, there’s an exciting new destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re into, enjoy your own personalised playlist with I Love Music. Join in the fun with furry visitors, or take part in competitive games, theme days and Happy Hour, there’s something for everyone no matter what you’re interested in.

Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings… there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to want second helpings!
