In the Heart of Milford

Tucked away at the end of a leafy cul-de-sac is one of the North Shore’s most trusted and established retirement villages – and home to the stylish new Attwood apartments.

Picture yourself in a new, architecturally-designed apartment surrounded by mature trees and attractive gardens, with recreational activities and services on tap. There are like-minded neighbours close by, shops and favourite beaches just minutes away, and public transport at your doorstep.

This lifestyle could be yours at Lady Allum Village.

Retirement Living at its Best

Designed by award-winning architects, Chow Hill, the new Attwood apartments incorporate the quality finishes and up-to-the-minute features you’d expect. They also come with Premium Living Services to make retirement living even easier and more comfortable, so instead of doing chores you can be getting to know your neighbours over morning or afternoon tea served each day in the Community Centre.

Open plan living, modern kitchen, master bedroom with luxurious ensuite, a spacious outdoor living area – choose from a variety of floorplans featuring 2-bedroom apartments with a separate guest toilet.

A Carefree Lifestyle

Imagine never having to worry about home maintenance or security again. At Lady Allum Village you can enjoy a carefree lifestyle with more time to indulge in your favourite hobbies and pursue new interests.

The Community Centre is the hub of village life. Grab something to read from the library, catch up with friends over a coffee in the lounge, or visit with family over a delicious meal in the dining room. There’s even a cinema where you can sit back and enjoy a big screen movie experience. These communal spaces can also be booked for special functions.

If you’re looking for a bit of variety or the opportunity to socialise with your neighbours, there’s the village activities programme. In addition to regular happy hours, guest speakers, movie nights and bus trips to local shops, there are outings to special events like theatre, ballet, opera and garden shows.

  • “It’s sunny and quiet and we’ve got a lovely outlook. It’s absolutely marvellous. We’ve been socialising with other residents and everyone is so nice.” - Allen and Patricia, Attwood Residents

  • "My apartment is beautiful. It’s on the ground floor looking out at the garden. I often wander out to the Community Lounge with my book and iPad to spend a few hours or for afternoon tea with my neighbours. I’ve been having dinner in the Dining Room twice a week. I feel very spoiled. I’m just loving it." - Margaret Holt, Attwood Resident

  • “It’s open, spacious, secure. I’m very happy here. The other residents are really nice and because I’ve lived on the Shore we often find that we know the same people! I’m out and about most days but I like to mix with my neighbours at afternoon tea in the lounge or over dinner in the dining room. The food is very good and I’ve just clicked with the people here.” - Mary Griffiths, Attwood Resident

  • "I like the way the caring staff remember your name and don’t forget to use it." - Ms Eileen Pahl, Lady Allum resident

  • "Feeling safe is the most important thing I look for and this village provides it for me. The village manager does her best to meet the requests of the residents and I am really impressed with her work. Great that we have access to a bus twice a week to go shopping in." - Ms Cushla McKenzie, Lady Allum resident

  • "The wonderful feeling of safety cannot be underestimated. The ability to join any activity, watch or abstain gives a great sense of freedom. I have enjoyed the companionship of similar ages like me and getting to know the amazing talent of these new friends." - Mrs Rhona Pilkington, Lady Allum resident

  • "The arrangement of the apartments seems to be well planned for all facilities and gives a fresh and welcoming first impression. It provides for maximum contact with the outdoors. Well done to the planners. The feeling of care is unobtrusive and pleasant but still maintaining privacy when wanted. Good selection of activities is available, if needed. I am very satisfied with my decision and sure it will continue to meet my expectations and comfort." - Mrs Helen Rogan, Lady Allum resident

  • The residents have the freedom to be as independent as they want to be. Neighbours here are very friendly and the staff are helpful and approachable. My wife and I are very comfortable here and are very satisfied that we chose Lady Allum for our retirement - Mr Graham Lush, Lady Allum resident

  • "This village offers a great location with considerate staff that create a warm atmosphere to live in." - Jean Stuart Harding, Lady Allum resident
