Carefree Independence

The option of Premium Living Services means you can make retirement living even easier and more comfortable. Instead of doing chores, you can be getting to know your neighbours over morning or afternoon tea served each day in the Community Centre.

Active Village Life

With two community centres and a full activities calendar, there is always something to do at Lady Allum. Watch a movie on the big screen, catch up with friends for coffee in one of the lounges or keep fit in the gym. Communal spaces can also be booked to enjoy special functions with friends and family.

If you like to get out and about the Milford shops are just minutes down the road boasting a selection of cafes, restaurants, clothing stores and supermarkets. There is easy access to public transport, and we provide regular van trips from the weekly shop to special outings to the theatre, ballet, opera and garden shows.

A Continuum of Care

Trained care staff are on call for emergencies 24 hours a day. Lady Allum has a Rest Home and Hospital facility onsite with a choice of standard rooms or spacious Care Suites. You can be sure you’re in good hands. Oceania has won the supreme care award from the NZ Aged Care Association 3 years in a row.

  • "My apartment is beautiful. It’s on the ground floor looking out at the garden. • I'm in a lovely apartment. My next-door neighbour and I are very good mates and I didn't know her until I came here. I'm still very independent and I thoroughly enjoy it. It's all on-going care here and we all look out for each other. It's home, it's as simple as that. - Daphne Bennett, Lady Allum apartment Resident

  • “It’s open, spacious, secure. I’m very happy here. The other residents are really nice and because I’ve lived on the Shore we often find that we know the same people! The food is very good and I’ve just clicked with the people here.” - Mary Griffiths, Attwood Resident
