Our Village Living Offering
Trevellyn’s ‘Woodlands’ apartments consist of one and two-bedroom residential units. Woodlands has three levels, with the main entry (atrium) on the ground floor. Lift and stair access is provided to all levels. One bedroom units range in area from 55 m2 (including the deck areas) to 70 m2. The two-bedroom units are 69 m2 including the deck areas. Apartments on the second and third floors have balconies.
Meals are available at a very reasonable cost from our main facility, where there are also laundry facilities if required.
The Village Manager is available Monday to Friday and offers a varied and interesting programme that all village residents are encouraged to join. A ‘Good Morning’ programme is arranged every Thursday in the apartments’ atrium; residents enjoy a social get-together with refreshments, and often includes guest speakers and community involvement. A Weekly exercise class is held under the guidance of an instructor organised through Sport Waikato. On Friday afternoons we have a 'Happy Hour' in the atrium which is open to all Village Residents to attend.
The residents at Trevellyn enjoy organising their own activities, such as Bingo, a Quiz Group, Dominoes and monthly Pot Luck Dinner with a movie. A bi-monthly residents’ meeting, also attended by village management, keeps everyone informed and is an ideal opportunity for residents to have any questions answered by the management team.
What’s Near By
Trevellyn’s Woodlands apartments are situated very close to the central business district of Hamilton at the northern end of Victoria Street. The apartments have the advantage of a pharmacy, café and superette directly opposite, which is particularly advantageous for residents who wish to take a stroll with friends and family.
Claudelends Park is only a 5 minute drive away. The local shopping centre at Beerescourt is within walking distance and offers a pharmacy, café, superette and bakery.
Woodlands consists of 40 apartments, five of which offer two bedrooms. Each apartment contains a full range of whiteware (washing machine, refrigerator, rangehood, stove and cooktop), underfloor heating, wastemaster and easily accessed storage space. The one-bedroom apartments are spacious and units on the second and third floors have balconies. Two elevators serve the upper floors.
Gardens and landscaping are professionally cared for by an experienced gardener. Residents are able to use their balconies or patios for pot plants of their choice.
There is a fully-serviced kitchen and dining area. The atrium is a popular meeting spot for residents, with a warm cosy fireplace and armchairs. Offstreet parking is available. Woodlands Apartments are patrolled by security officers each night, and residents are provided with ‘swipe keys’ for access to the building.

If your needs change, Trevellyn has Rest Home and Hospital care onsite and will have a new facility with luxury Care Suites in 2019. You can be sure you’re in good hands. Oceania has won the Supreme Care Award from the NZ Aged Care Association 3 years in a row.
Minimum age of entry for residents is 70 years.
