What is Respite Care?
Respite care refers to a short term stay in a care facility after which the person returns to their home. Whether it’s only a day or two, or up to several weeks, Respite care can be accessed by people needing Rest Home, Hospital or Dementia Care. Sometimes people who need respite care may be those who normally live independently in their own home, but need support when recovering after an illness or operation. In other cases respite care can give full time carers the opportunity to have a break or holiday. Our short term residents often find it refreshing to have a change of scenery… making new friends, enjoying our award winning home cooked meals and joining in our varied activities programmes.
Give us a call, we can help you find a place for respite care. Our experts are here 7 days a week, 9am to 8pm weekdays and 9am to 5pm weekends, so why not ring them on 0800 333 688.
