Eldon Care

Our Care offering

Nestled down a quiet, leafy street, just 1.7kms from the heart of Paraparaumu, Eldon boasts the perfect semi-rural location. With the golf club to our south and hills and bush on the east and west boundaries, there’s no shortage of peaceful places where you can sit and enjoy the great outdoors.

There’s always something happening in our main lounges for those who enjoy socialising, as well as plenty of cosy nooks to relax with a cuppa and a book. Known for our warm, homely environment, our staff go out of their way to provide personalised care and make residents feel part of the family.

At Eldon, we offer a choice of both Standard Rooms and Care Suites, which means no matter your needs or budget, there are plenty of options.

Care Suites are designed to give you more flexibility, plus that little bit of luxury you deserve. Both Rest Home and Hospital care can be provided in your Care Suite, which means you can relax knowing you won’t have the upheaval of moving again if your needs increase.

All Care Suites have a heat pump and full en-suite, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave – perfect for making a cuppa when friends and family come to visit.

Hop in the village van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. Ice cream at Paraparaumu Beach, or browsing the shops in town - there’s an exciting new destination every week. Or if it’s music you’re into, enjoy your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme. With a sensory room, harp therapy, Happy Hour and theme days, there’s something for everyone no matter what you’re interested in.

Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings… there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to be up for second helpings!

Award-Winning Care

Great care is what we do, and we’ve got the accolades to prove it. Oceania’s won the supreme award from the New Zealand Aged Care Association 3 years in a row, so you can be sure you’re in good hands. When it comes to your care, you know what you like and don’t like - and we want to know too. Because everyone is different all our residents get a personalised care plan. From meals to medications, everything that’s important to you is covered.

What’s Nearby

Here on the Kapiti Coast, we’re lucky enough to be close to miles and miles of beautiful and easily accessible beaches. Eldon is just a few minutes’ drive from central Paraparaumu, which has a number of cafes and restaurants perfect for catching up with family and friends.
